What is Lorem Ipsum Placeholder Text?
Lorem Ipsum has been the graphic design industry standard dummy text since the 1500s. Designers use dummy text so that viewers focus on visual layout elements—such as typography, spacing, and color schemes—rather than reading actual page content.
Our Lorem Ipsum Generator Tool lets you create exact quantities of paragraphs, sentences, or words for your prototypes.
Why Use Dummy Text in Mockups?
- Visual Neutrality: Prevents reviewers from getting distracted by draft copy.
- Realistic Natural Distribution: Mimics standard word lengths and sentence structures better than repeating "Text goes here".
- Flexible Layout Testing: Tests container height and overflow states across different viewport sizes.
